Cute song, cute dress, cute shoes, cute hair.

How could I not be in love?

What I Wore: Cute Bikes edition

During our Seattle outing, I found the most awesome shirt from Urban Outfitters. I'm always on the lookout for cute shirts (especially for summer) that don't require a tank top underneath, a cardigan over or both. I've basically resorted to t-shirts for the summer months (which here are not very long so I've survived). I saw this shirt though and knew I had to have it plus it was on clearance! Sweetness!

Now, I have a confession. I have a lot of clothes. It took my 5 suitcases to get all my clothes out to Provo. I left an entire jumbo sized Rubbermaid bin of clothes in Utah for the summer and it still took me 3 jam packed suitcases home. The last thing I needed was another shirt. But my friends talked me into. I knew my mother would have a cow.

As soon as I got home, I showed her what I got. She gave me a look and walked out of the room. Uh oh.  She then returned with an Urban bag and pulled out the same shirt! "I saw it and just knew you would love it!" So the next morning, I woke up to my shirt in my Easter basket. Good thing Urban does returns!

The Royal Wedding.

No, I wasn't one of those people up at one in the morning to watch the royal wedding. I was one of those people that got up at a reasonable hour, slipped on a dress, cardigan and donned my best hat while watching E!, BBC America, and Lifetime for hours though.

Ok so my hat is from my old dress up box and it was a balancing act just to get this picture since it was made for a 5 year old head but a good milliner is quite hard to come by in these parts.

Totes a crafternoon.

Home sweet home! I'm in good ol' Warshington for the next 4 months on "summer" vacation. Feels more like Christmas break right now unfortunatley.

The universe was feeling awesome however and made sure me and Kelli would be home on the same weekend so we got to spend some goofball bonding time. First on the agenda, a trip to Seattle with Becs and Kel for some shopping, eating, eating and shopping.

Cheesecake factory. We really like brown bread.
After our Seattle shenagians, Kelli and I chose a little more low-key way to spend the next day. A crafternoon.

Our wares.
feather earring. apparently everyone is wearing them. I've been in a bubble. also, I was informed that you only wear one, and never two in one ear. Jessica Beal got slammed for that. Thanks mom.

MMMMM Diana!

I was finally able to pick up my Diana pictures! I'm a little frustrated that they aren't in the standard square shape ( and my computer won't let me open them to crop! Bah!) and I'm wondering if any coolness got cut off by the rectangleness but I'll survive. Now, I am quite the beginner. I only got 9 pictures off a roll that should have gotten me at least 15 (whoops...) and some are a little wierd but I'm happy. Here they are!
My roommate!

My roommate again.

Converse shot. Tres necessaire.

Puppy!

The Provo Temple. That little squiggly is the Angel Moroni.

And my personal favorite, my grandmother's house.

So, while yes I have quite a bit of learning to do when it comes to the ways of Diana but I shall progress.
